Civik is an infrastructure services social enterprise. We work with large corporates to help fulfill their labour hire shortages in regional areas, while creating jobs for young people shut out from mainstream employment.
We take a strengths-based approach to our recruitment, focusing on the talents of motivated individuals who have a strong desire for work. We provide them with the training, skills and confidence they need to go on to pursue careers in construction, engineering and telecommunications.

Our work
The motivation behind Civik came from an opportunity with Ventia, one of Australia’s largest infrastructure services providers, who needed to boost their capacity to meet demands of a major project with NBN Co.
Our first site is now operational in Cairns with a crew of seven. This is just the beginning. Civik will expand into other regions across Australia, aligning to Ventia’s workload. The next location we’re scoping is the Dandenong Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne.
As we grow our aim to become a valued service provider in civil construction services. With unfilled vacancies in the Australian civil construction sector estimated to reach 100,000 this year, we’re the smarter choice for organisations who are focused on the skills they need, as well as their social impact.
